Go easy on a foreigner!

Wow am I really blogging? It feels foreign. I feel foreign, foreign to spaces that is. I havent payed any attention to my page in months. I'm preoccupied with all things going on and spending time on the computer is at the bottom of the list. BUT of course I never forget any of the people I've met on here so even in the worst of times I'll be back around sooner or later. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who havent forgotten about me and still visit even though they havent received a comment from me in months. Its nice to know I'm thought about even in absence.

During my absence I picked up a new family member. I purchased another chihuahua so the one I already have could have a playmate. Another lil boy named Arthur. Within a week of doing that Charlie my first chi stared having seizures. JUST MY LUCK! Its been difficult but I wouldnt turn my back on my fur babies for a million dollars! Anyway I'll post a couple pics of him below.

I know its late and all but I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. I'll add in a Happy Valentines Day and Happy Easter too just in case I'm not back before then, lol!

Some of you may be wondering if I ever caught up on all my comments. I did and was feeling good to be back in the swing of things. Then the space gods came down and burst my happy bubble. Not only could I NOT comment on many friends spaces, I also could NOT receive any comments. What a pain in the ass! Sometimes Windows Live Spaces is more trouble than its worth and it seems to be a growing trend. I miss the "MSN SPACES" of two years ago. Mind you there have been some great changes along the way its just too bad so many problems came right along with them. At least this problem was fixed. Many never get fixed and many requests for help never get answered. There are so many people, including myself, who have at one time or another had to erase their page and start anew. An online home that you put hours of work into isnt something you should have to do over and over every time the space gods mess things up. Its disheartening!

To those who have sent messages I'm sorry I didnt reply. I didnt receive the majority of them until just tonight because I didnt bother signing into my space account as I knew my comments werent working.

Now...lets try this again!

Three's Company

I'm pretty much all settled into my new place now, thank god. I feel like I havent had a moments peace in forever! The cable line at this house was shot so I was unable to get online, hence my absence. A new line was hooked up but its currently running along the ground of the backyard, all the way through the park, and into the yard of a house around the corner. Yikes...I'm surprised all the kids that frequent the park havent messed with it yet. Hopefully someone will come and bury the line soon or I'll have to raise hell until they do.

Things are fairly well around here although it will take some time for me to get used to living with two other people instead of just one. I'm a very private person and greatly enjoy my time alone so its very challenging for me. The extra noise, the extra people, the extra mess, just the "extra" is very trying on my patience. I'm proud of myself as I havent killed anyone yet. We live in a house though so there is more space for us to coincide peacefully.

Now I will attempt to catch up on the comments I've fallen behind in.

Wish me luck...lol! :P

UPDATE

I'm now at my new place...YAY! I still have lots to do to settle in but I'll be doing my best to catch up with you all over the next few days. :D

After 12 months of living in this dump of an apartment and 5 months of moving anticipation, the time has finally come for me to move! Which I will be doing in just a few days. Now I absolutely hate moving and everything that goes with it but I'm really excited to get the hell out of where I am right now! After being hit with an unexpected blow last year I had no other choice but to move to Cancer Building on Poop Lane in Grubville. So not fun! Anyway I'll be without internet service for about a week, so if you dont hear from me, thats why. I'll also be without cable so I'll miss 2 episodes of BB8! OMG shoot me now! :P

As for the feud with my landlord, after telling me he could care less about my issues, it seems he has changed his tune a bit once he learned I planned on placing a serious complaint, and is making an effort to keep his door closed! I've realized though, he still doesnt fully understand my issue in the first place. He thinks I have a problem with smoke smell when the problem is the smoke itself! I have news for you buddy, putting moth balls in the hallway does not eradicate smoke, eww! Ugh...some people! Thank god it will all be over soon! :D

Big Brother 8

Welcome to the Big Brother household!

Oh how I love Big Brother. From the first Big Brother through to the now airing Big Brother 8, I just love this show! I'm like a sports fanatic watching playoffs during an episode. Shut up and dont talk to me until its over unless its a commercial, lol. I'm not sure yet who I'm routing for this season, possibly Dustin. I'm definitely not routing for Jen though and would love to see her get the boot ASAP. She's what I call a "space cadet", and I cant stand her. I like the viewers player aka America's player idea. I'm curious to see how the challenges unfold and if Eric can pull them off. If you dont watch this show and its available in your area, I suggest you do, its great!

I'll try to get around to you all as soon as I can. My piddle one, pictured above my blogs, had his cryptorchid neuter yesterday and I have to keep him off all furniture, on the floor, away from the cats, and from licking his incisions for the next week or so. The deed is keeping me very busy and very stressed to say the least.

I also spent quite a few hours finally updating my link dumper page lastnight. By the time I finished more than half of the pages listed were deleted. Many pages did not exist anymore, were private, or did not have the required link back to The Gathering. I also gave the page a new look and listed all the people on the waiting list.

Charlies health is touch and go. I'll swear he's doing better but then he proves me wrong. He's wasting away. I'm trying to get him to gain weight but with the illness he has thats near impossible. Hopefully in the very near future I'll be able to afford getting further tests done. For those of you who have no clue what I'm taking about you can read the blog below.

At a loss for a title...

My sisters birthday party was big fun! I think everyone had a great time, I certainly did! My only downfall being I'm 99.9% sure I was drugged at the bar. Things happened to me that shouldnt have happened and the days following that night I was deathly ill. Not too sure how or when it could have happened because I'm always so careful but I guess I'll have to be careful, careful, careful, next time....lol!

In other news there have been changes to Windows Live Spaces! I'm sure you all already know that but I thought it sounded reporter like and wanted to throw it in there. The changes caused problems for me on this page as well as on my private poetry one. My font was all messed up! Almost like you could see each pixel. Anyway, it was really UG! Supposedly there is an easy way to fix it, although it didnt work for me. I had to clear all and start from scratch. Luckily for me I was smart enough to write down the hex codes I was using before clearing all. So...all I had to do was slip them back in and VOILA everything is back to the way it was before the changes! I've noticed some of you guys got hit with the "UG FONT" as well. Maybe you dont mind how it looks, but if you do, here are two ways to fix it.

1.Go to Customize, Advanced, and change the Text font and the Text size to any non-default values. Close the Customize menu and Save the changes. Return to Customize, Advanced, and change the Text font and Text size both to default. Close the Customize menu and Save the changes.

(this didnt work for me but I've heard it worked for some others)

2.Clear all and start again!

I got to thinking about movies the other day. My favourite movies at that. I realized that 95% of my favourite movies are 80's movies. I also realized that my taste in movies hasnt changed since I was 5 or 6! At 25 I still prefer the horror and fantasy genre over anything else, the same way I did when I was a young child. Some of my favourite movies I havent seen in years because I've been unable to find them for rent, let alone on DVD. Instead, I decided to use the net to take a trip down memory lane, looking up old movie posters and the likes.

Of course I have a few stand out favourites from the list. Labyrinth being one of them. I watched this movie over and over again as a young girl, and actually watched it again just the other day!

I must say some of David Bowie's outfits in this movie were a bit extreme. One of which clearly shows off his "package"! Flopping around as he dances. I wonder what I thought of that when I was young...HaHaHa!

Another stand out being The Dark Crystal.

On my 3rd Birthday I think it was, while playing around in the hallway of my Grandmothers building with a cousin, I got my face smashed into the wall. My mouth was all swollen and my Mother kept saying I looked like a Gelfling. Which are the characters you see above. I later had a tooth pulled as a result of that injury.

Mumbo Jumbo E-mails

Have you ever received an e-mail that was a bunch of mumbo jumbo code? You may have noticed "This message is in MIME format", somewhere amongst the code. I have and apparently I've sent some of those "MIME" e-mails out too. Having no clue why I was sending and receiving these e-mails, I decided to do some research. I found out MIME is an abbreviation for multipurpose internet mail extensions. Not all mail readers understand MIME or it may be disabled. I use hotmail and have had a problem with MIME e-mails, so I'm guessing hotmail doesnt understand MIME. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways it seemed I only received MIME e-mails when someone was trying to send me pictures. Likewise, I only sent MIME e-mails when trying to send pictures. I found out that MIME can become a problem if you have HTML or RICH-TEXT enabled when sending e-mails, which I did. So, I turned it off, sent my pictures again and voila it worked! My e-mail was received code free. If you are having the same problem hopefully this helps you fix it. If you know someone who is sending MIME e-mails, pass this lil bit of information along to them and hopefully it helps them too.

An Early Letter to Santa...

Dear Santa,

I know the year has just begun but I can assure you I've been very good. I will continue to be on my best behaviour throughout the whole year. I promise! I'm 100% positive that I will keep this promise to you. So much so that I do not feel bad for submitting my wish list early. Santa would you please consider bringing me Channing Tatum for Christmas? Maybe even for my birthday which is right around the corner?

Come on Santa, just look at that jaw line! I'm sure if you werent so busy with Mrs. Clause you would want Channing Tatum for Christmas too!

MMM! Doesnt he look delicious? Now Santa I know how busy you are around Christmas, and I know Channing Tatum might be hard to find. So...If you cant bring me Channing Tatum...I'd be more then happy to settle for Tyrese Gibson.

Oh Santa, I'd be the happiest, luckiest woman in the whole world if you brought me these delicious gifts! They surely are enough to satisfy any womans hunger. Please fulfill my yummy list!

Meet The Munks!

There is a family of chipmunks living under the sidewalk at the back of the building I live in. The specific sidewalk they live under just so happens to be right outside my window! So...I get to see them all the time!

Are they not just the cutest lil things ever? I wish I could have them for pets but my cats would probably eat them. I know there are at least four of them but for the most part I only ever see two at a time.

They seem to have alot of fun. Running all over the yard and up and down the steps. The lil guys are quick and great jumpers too. I like to feed them Cheerios, honey nut of course. HaHaHa! I just love my munks!
