Today is the first day of summer and what a beautiful day its been.

TeeHee...thats right, the first day of summer brought an insane storm to Kingston, Ontario. While it wasnt a very long storm it sure was intense! Strong winds, rain, thunderstorms, and bonus item large hail! It was quite the sight to see. The sky was beautifully dark and ominous. We havent had a summer storm that intense in years. I dont remember ever seeing hail in Kingston during the summer. We used to get booming thunderstorms that shook our tallest buildings but the past years storms have been very weak and boring. I miss those storms. Nothing like a good storm to really show you your place on this earth. People think they are so powerful and superior, but really we merely exist on something that is much greater and more powerful than we'll ever be!

Is Anybody Out There?

WTF is happening to MSN Spaces? Those of you who have been around for the long haul will most likely agree that things are not the same around here. I remember when I first joined everyone seemed genuinely happy to visit one another, read blogs, and participate in events. That interaction seems to keep dwindling away. These days you have to practically beg for visitors, comments, and any type of interaction. I have to leave at least 3 comments per page just to get 1 back in return. (With the exception of a few faithful visitors) Not that I'm a comment whore or anything...HaHa!

Although it is nice to know your visit is noticed, a lil common courtesy, and a returned comment can go a long way. I miss how MSN Spaces used to be. Through all the drama, haters, and changes, this is still my favourite online place to be. I dont plan on going anywhere either! If you are reading this and feel the same way, or know of others who do, drop me a line! I'd like to connect with others devoted to keeping MSN Spaces, now Windows Live Spaces alive and kicking!

Wanna trade pics?

This message appears quite often in my myspace inbox.

What exactly does it mean? Wanna trade pics?...

Is it some slang term for I'll show you Mr. Jimmy Johnson if you show me your tu-lip and the two fatty sacs that protrude from your chest? WTF? Do people just automatically assume that you have naked pictures of yourself?...and are willing to share them with strangers at that? Maybe my distaste in humankind makes me think there is a hidden meaning to the phrase. Maybe wanna trade pics simply means wanna trade pics. If so WTF? again! Why would you want to have a bunch of pictures of clothed strangers on your personal computer? Why would strangers want to give you pictures of themselves anyway?

Am I missing something here?
